  1. Synchronicity II brings us back on par - it's a stonking good track that pumps its slick guitar lick down your throat and makes you want to dance and sing. The other three singles from the album follow and these 4 tracks are the highlight before the album closes off with the pleasant but not wonderful Tea in the Sahara and Murder by Numbers/5().
  2. Mastering code DIDX 1 on the back cover means that this album was the first non-Sony release ever manufactured by a Sony pressing plant. (Other plants have also pressed it over the years, so while the code appears on most US copies of the album, only discs with DIDX 1 in the matrix code of the CD itself are actually pressed by Sony.) Non-Target CD/5(21).
  3. With the release of 's Synchronicity, their fifth and final studio album, the Police were briefly the biggest rock band in the world. As such, it's a suitably overblown representation of their stature/5().
  4. Editors’ Notes On their fifth and final studio album, The Police stretch far beyond the punchy New Wave that made their name. “Walking in Your Footsteps” conjures rainforest atmospheres with pulsing digital synths, and the frantic “Mother” deploys Middle Eastern reeds. Synchronicity II. 6.
  5. View credits, reviews, tracks and shop for the Vinyl release of Synchronicity on Discogs. Label: A&M Records - AM • Format: Vinyl LP, Album 5/5.
  6. 'Synchronicity', the group's fifth album, is highlighted by the gently romantic 'Tea In The Sahara', 'King Of Pain', with its alternately monastic and cathartic moods, and 'Synchronicity II', an aggressive, steely pieve that uses a longer melodic line than usual in Police songs.
  7. Simultaneously more pop-oriented and experimental than either Ghost in the Machine or Zenyatta Mondatta, Synchronicity made the Police superstars, generating no less than five hit singles. With the exception of "Synchronicity II," which sounds disarmingly like a crappy Billy Idol song, every one of those singles is a classic.9/
  8. Jan 20,  · The gram Universal is my favorite of this album. RE: Quiex. Just picked up a first press of a 10, maniacs album and the Tracy Chapman S/T on Quiex. Fantastic sound quality, and really quiet. Much better than the standard issues. TRH.
  9. Synchronicity, the Police ’s fifth and finest album, is about things ending — the world in peril, the failure of personal relationships and marriage, the death of God.
